I think I had amazing cherry pancakes here about 10 years ago...this still the place??
After a a long flight from AK and a drive from Seattle, the Boat Yard Hash absolutely hit the spot. Fantastic food, great service, nice view. Highly recommended.
MoreWonderful spot to eat at prior to going on the whale watching tour. It was so good, I can only show an aftermath picture.
MoreGood food, great service!
Great view. Very casual place.Food was good 4 star.Wait staff felt it was busy with 4 (4top) tables so wouldn't swap coleslaw for eggs even with an upcharge. How hard is it to crack a couple of eggs? It's cooked on a large grill. Loss of a star for above.
MorePhotos don’t do justice to the scramble or the omelette. They were delicious and the portions were large. Even the coffee was good. Picturesque waterfront area too. I was happy to have found this place. We were seated right away and service was good and the food came up fast
MoreWe stumbled upon this place as we took a detour on our road trip. Can only speak for Sunday breakfast. The food took a really long time but it was well worth it. Maybe the best omlette I've ever had.
MoreIt's a nice location but the place has seen better days long time ago. Inside, there's nothing remarkable or chic. More importantly, however, is that the food is way below average and I was not enjoying it at all. I had a salad with prawns for lunch and the potatoes were overcooked. Sorry, but no more.
MoreI had an egg scramble with beans. It was pretty good. My friend had a cornmeal pancake. The pancake was delicious with a little cherry filling. I can imagine splitting each to make a great meal combo. Portions are generous. I would go back.
MoreWent to this place after it was recommended for it's excellent breakfast options. The place was loud, not very comfy, service slow and the fruits we ordered were little bowls with one quarter apple, dried cranberries and less than half a banana. The pancake was average, the toast, well, not very impressive either. I can't speak for their lunch or dinner but definitely not recommend going there to start your day.
MoreGreat food and service
Excellent service. Bacon waffles and eggs were perfect - esp. w/ raspberry jam. Friendly staff. Can't beat the location. Will be back.
MoreOur cousin emphatically recommended this spot for our trip and it did not disappoint. There was a little bit of a wait to sit down on a late Sunday morning, but not too bad. We got the best seat in the house facing the marina. The service was absolutely astounding, especially given how busy it was. The server (Sarah) and the busers were super friendly and helpful, and we had a lot of special requests (keto, dairy-free). Our food was delicious; we had the white cheddar and ham scramble and the Greek omlette. If you're comfortable with a little wait and smaller tables, this place is extremely good.
MoreYou come into a restaurant and tell them it's your first time, usually u get a welcome or something, nothing. Food wasnt anything special, no flavor actually for $20 and I'm still hungry and that never happens. Server had no personality, like other things were on her mind. She had a hard time tending to 3 tables. Not ever going back, me or my father, very disappointed. Potato salad is only potatoes with mustard on it and burgers are better at burger king and way cheaper even with the gas included.
MoreWarm, happy environment, and comfort food alongside the marina. The maps on tables are neat to look at and the windows offer views of the marina.
MoreDon't be thwarted by the line, it moves quick and well worth the wait.
Very quaint. Way overpriced - a side of toast by itself was $4. Service was a little slow, but it was a Saturday morning so we were prepared for a wait. Not terribly kid friendly.
MorePlace is good, just noisy. I really enjoyed the pancakes and hash. I will come here whenever I need breakfast in Townsend. ❤👍
MoreCome here for breakfast or brunch. I wish I could eat everything on the menu at once. Cinnamon raisin French toast with ricotta cheese? Yes please! Scrambles, crab cakes. Yum.Service was excellent. This place is a total win. Plus the view is great.
MoreOne of the best breakfasts in town! We're regulars, always bring our guests here.
MoreAwesome! They don't make places like this anymore. Great food!
Cute place right on the water. Super nice staff and some really unique breakfast offerings. I had the hash with salmon and it was really tasty.
MoreSo good! If it's busy, just be patient for how ever long it takes. It. Is. Worth. It.
MoreBreakfast was very good, hash and pancakes were far above average. I enjoyed the food, service needs some help. Maybe a few more waiters and some sound absorbers on the ceilings.
MoreAbsolutely fantastic breakfast fare! Order anything...
We went for Sunday brunch and decided it would be worth waiting in line. It was absolutely worth it. The food was simple but great servings and service was exemplary. With a view of the marina, this customer was very happy.
MoreVery mellow ambiance, with great marina and water views.I was nervous the food would be Basic diner fare, but it was lovely and creative. The rhubarb waffle, with the ricotta/orange zest spread was a revelation.I'm going to be walking that delight off for the rest of the week.So worth it.
MoreGreat food! Busy little place.
The BEST breakfast place in Port Townsend!!! Huge crispy bacon, amazing homemade pancakes that are tastier than any ive had, grreat coffee, a little PRICEY, for sure, but damn its good! On the marina in one of the original historic buildings, lots of character!!
MoreHad a great time here with friends for a late breakfast. Definitely give it a try.
MoreBacon and white cheddar waffle. Need I say more
Excellent food but ran out of beer
Love the local feel of this rather small diner. They have some greats like the Bacon and Cheddar Waffle, or the Sweet Potato Pancakes, make sure to try some of everything! Great service and wonderful people and food makes this a happy start to the morning!
MoreWonderful food! And they can accommodate vegan & gluten free.
We picked this place cause it was on the point at the marina love being around the water and boats. Didn’t have high expectations but wow it was so good. We ordered the corn beef hash which is freshly made there not from a can and it was amazing. Erin helped us and she was so sweet and we e enjoyed talking to her. You have to try this place you won’t be disappointed.
MoreThis food was amazing. There were so many vegetarian options, too! The staff was so wonderful and the cafe has great water views. I highly recommend and will always come back anytime I'm in town!
MoreGreat breakfast and lunch, on the marina, VERY hard to find.
Disappointed. Was there for late lunch, after the noon hour. Enjoyed the view and the map under glass at our table. My husband and I both had sandwiches with avocado on them and got just a little blob of avocado on each sandwich. My grilled chicken sandwich really didnt have much flavor. Side salad was good. But overpriced for what it was, $28 for our lunch and we drank water. Service really slow, waited almost 45 minutes after ordering for food to come with no water refills in the meantime.
MoreGreat spot in marina. Original and interesting breakfast combinations.
Very tasty but also very busy. If you go for breakfast get there when they open or relax, enjoy the beautiful views of the boats and the water, and prepare to wait. The homemade jam is worth it as are the seasoned potatoes.
MoreThere are many reasons to dine at Point Hudson Cafe. Mine usually involve the crab cakes and a rhubarb waffle.
MoreEating leftovers as I write this and am thinking to myself.. I would definitely drive the 2 hours just for their crab cake on my day off. Crab cake topped with a perfectly poached egg sitting atop fresh spinach with a side of red potatoes.Got in around 9:30am on a Monday morning and they had plenty of seating. My server was amazing and I couldn't stopnlooking at the marina view. This is a must if you visit Port Townsend! I'll definitely be back.
MoreA popular place with the locals. Interesting variety and good tasting food. They could benefit from more friendly staff and air conditioning.
MoreFood was very mediocre yet upscale pricing. Supposedly new chef but food very slow to come out. Oyster scramble at 15.50 was ok but English muffin was soggy and tough. My husband’s crab cake Benedict had consistency of lump crab mixed together and barely cooked. Poached eggs were hard and not at all runny while potatoes lacked seasoning and were not warm
MoreWell, we've been two days in a row and possibly returning tomorrow - that's how yummy it is. Really good food, top notch service. Try the cinnamon raisin french toast, or from what we can tell, anything else is good too.
MoreReally great breakfast. Interesting view of the marina and old nautical charts on each table.
MoreHudson Point Cafe serves only breakfast and lunch. On weekends they are open 8AM to 2PM and serve brunch only, so only breakfast food. On weekdays they are open 8AM to 3PM with separate times for breakfast and lunch. All other times we had breakfast here, so this was our first lunch. My wife had the Flame Broiled Coho Salmon and found it very good. I went with one of their specials, the Ultimate Cheeseburger, which had a bit of everything including avocado and also found it very good. The service was solid. We both enjoyed our meals but felt their breakfast choices were better, or maybe we just think of it as a breakfast place. Anyway, we will be back.
MoreLovely small place with delicious food and friendly service.
Nice quiet, laid back breakfast spot. Friendly staff, great comfort food, and seems like it's the local breakfast spot among the locals
MoreI always get the salmon scram. It's really well lit, all the wait staff are friendly and quick. You need to get there early for breakfast because it's very popular.
MoreOne of my favorites in town for breakfast. My mom, sister, and myself almost always order three plates of crab cakes benedict - we like it that much! Service is always prompt and pleasant. And of course, there's the lovely view of the harbor.
